I have been an entrepreneur since I was a student at the University of Washington. I launched my first enterprise from my dorm room at age 20. After a decade of building multi-national companies, I decided I wanted to empower other entrepreneurs, so I became an investor.

Since then, I’ve backed diverse ventures ranging from waste supply management and renewable energy companies to women and girls’ empowerment initiatives to an Academy Award-nominated political documentary.
