Treasury yields retreat amid Brexit jitters

Treasury yields slid on Tuesday trading as investors await the results from the U.K.’s vote to leave the European Union, which is widely expected to be defeated in Parliament, creating more uncertainty in the region

The 10-year Treasury note yield TMUBMUSD10Y, +0.06% fell 2.2 basis points to 2.688%. The 2-year note yield TMUBMUSD02Y, -0.16% was down 0.9 basis point to 2.526%. The 30-year bond yield TMUBMUSD30Y, +0.27% slipped 2.1 basis points to 3.039%. Bond prices move in the opposite direction of yields.
