Treasury yields take breather from week-long slide

U.S. Treasury yields edged up Friday as the bond-market followed a bounce in equities that are still on track to record weekly losses.

What are Treasurys doing?

The 10-year Treasury note yield TMUBMUSD10Y, +0.38% rose 2.9 basis points to 1.556%, a day after it fell to its lowest level since August 2016, while the 30-year bond yield TMUBMUSD30Y, +0.40% climbed 4.1 basis points to 2.021%. The 2-year note rate TMUBMUSD02Y, +0.20% rose 1.7 basis points to 1.513%. Debt prices move in the opposite direction of yields.
