What is the U.S. Federal Solar Energy Plan?
This month the U.S. Department of Energy released the 310-page “Solar Futures Study”, often being referred to as the Biden administration’s solar energy plan. The study lays out a possible electric grid layout in 2035 vs. 2020, with a future generation mix that looks like this:
If it wasn’t clear before, the Biden administration is all-in on solar and wind expansion with the goal of removing fossil fuels.
