Dow futures climbed around 200 points early Wednesday after comments by President Donald Trump and bail for a jailed Huawei Technologies Co. executive revived optimism over trade negotiations between the U.S. and China.

Dow Jones Industrial Average futures YMZ8, +0.62% shot up close to 200 points, or 0.8%, to 24,611, while those for the S&P 500 ESZ8, +0.66% rose 20.80 points, or 0.8%, to 2,662. and Nasdaq NQZ8, +0.86% futures are up 70 points, or 1%, to 6,787.25.
