Private equity firm Blackstone ( BX) agreed to buy U.S. hospital staffing provider TeamHealth ( TMH) Monday in a deal valued at about $6.1 billion. Blackstone will pay TeamHealth shareholders $43.50 a share, which is an 18-percent premium over Friday’s closing price. The deal is expected to close in the first quarter of 2017.
