Executives at Apple Inc. are debating a starting price of either $149 or $199 for the next generation of Apple TV, according to 9to5Mac.com, citing sources.
That would be more than double the cost of the $69 Apple AAPL, -1.07% now charges for Apple TV. The new version will include an App Store and Siri support, according to the report, published Sunday. The fourth generation of Apple TV would be available in October. The third-generation model would continue to be sold.
