Netflix shares plummeted Monday after the streaming video provider added far fewer subscribers than it — or Wall Street — expected between April and June.
The Los Gatos, Calif., company said it added about 1.7 million subscribers globally, its lowest growth in two years, increasing its total subscriber base to 83.2 million, up from 81.5 million at the end of March.
