Stock futures pointed to a slightly higher open for Wall Street on Monday, as the prospect of go-slow interest-rate hikes offset worries about the direction of volatile oil prices.
Futures levels, however, have been paring a modest advance throughout the morning.
Dow Jones Industrial Average futures YMM6, -0.01% rose 7 points, or less than 0.1%, to 17,714, while S&P 500 index ESM6, +0.05% futures added 3.15 points, or 0.1%, to 2,068. Nasdaq-100 NQM6, -0.07% futures gained 5.25 points, or 0.1%, to 4,533.
